Summary of Monitoring Objectives:
Monitoring provides baseline conditions against which we can evaluate the improvement or deterioration of water quality.
This fundamental, long-term data is important for ensuring water quality standards are met for all beneficial uses including aquatic life, irrigation, recreation, and drinking water.
It takes good data to make good management decisions and this program helps inform stakeholders and resource managers, allowing them to approach those decisions with clarity.
BHRF works to address this specific data gap to protect the "Last, Best River".
